    Default Debating on Eufaula

I'm thinking about going to Eufaula Thursday and will get to fish Friday, Saturday, and Sunday but I just looked at the long range forecast. Looks like it is suppose to rain Friday and drop 20 degrees. I usually go fishing anytime I can but I'm taking Friday off work to go watch it rain and the old folks always say if it drops 10 or more degrees the fish don't bite. What yall think?

My experience has always been the wind changing to come out of the north. It seems that that first puff sticks their lips together, and they stay stuck until the third day after.

New to the Wiregrass, and am just across the river. Hope no one minds the reply.

I am planning on taking my grandpa if I go. He fished almost everyday until he had double knee replacement and now he might fish a few time a year. I told him about the weather and he said the same thing. Wind says 9 mph Friday and a little less Saturday. No telling what the gust will be.

Post cold front...I would try pushing minnows around brush piles. Fish are going to have a bad case of lockjaw.

Dv8ed, welcome to this area of alabama. You are in a good spot for fishing. Couple of good lakes within 2 hrs drive.

Thank you, Sir. My first exposure to the Wiregrass was when my son attended Troy. Been trying to get here ever since. This is a special place because of the people. If I never make it to the water it is still where I want to be.

I talked with my papa and we decided not to make the 3 hour trip.
