    Default Combo fishing, Blackshear 9-22

Got on the water around 730 AM, it was a tad brisk, fall is in the air. Water temp was 77* and water was clear. Started trolling the channel ledges in the main lake, caught 30 or so, kept 15 of the bigger ones for dinner...alot of small fish, but that means there is plenty of seed in the lake. Caught the 1st one about 8 am, Fish bit steady till around 1030 am and then shutdown hard. Trolled till 1130 and packed it up and headed to the catfish hole. Fished from 12 to 130 and kept 11 cats, by this time the lake was getting a tad bit crowded with pleasure boaters and water lice. Packed it up and headed to the house. Best color trolling was acid rain and stardust...felt good to be trolling again, I will do one more trip and then fishing will be on hiatus until I fill the freezer with venison.

Crappie are being fried by the wife as I type, catfish (and a few of the crappie) went to my elderly neighbors who had ask me for some fish. Video will be up in a day or two.

That would be a dream. Want learn Blackshear. Got my boat, camper and willing fishing partner (wife). She is already retired. Got to have a total shoulder replacement next month. Can't think of a better place to heal up.
