    Default Tough today on Blackshear.

It was tough...fish were scattered all along the river ledge in 20ft of water. Managed 10 keepers, quit trolling at 10.
Found a couple of small bream beds, kept 12 of those and a catfish. off the water at 1pm.
This will probably be my last day trip to Blackshear till Sept. pleasure boaters and water lice are already bad.

I would consider that a successful trip.
Let them have the 90+ days I will take the early morning and late afternoon during the summer.

Way to go Dutch. Tubers, jet skiers and pleasure riders are tough on trolling!

I agree with OnDaHill. Luckily the campers dont usually get started until around 10AM at the earliest so usually I'm about done by then anyway. They gotta have their times on the water too. I used to enjoy that part of the year back when I was younger. It's all good.
