    Default Blackshear (11 April 19)


    Carried friend to Blackshear this morning. Fished same flats (14 foot) and caught some pretty good fish. My best bait by far was minnow spins with #7 piece of lead running.9 mph. We used 2 inch Tex’s Curley Tails. Light colors was best. Would go back tomorrow but wind is not a friend when fishing open water.

    Nice mess of fish.

    Got the boat hooked up and will fish till the wind runs me off.

    did they have eggs? the ones we caught in boat slips Sat. had eggs.
