I go up there every December just for Striped Bass. I don't fish for Crappie there but the best place in Georgia for Hybrids......

I fished with Smitty on that lake, and we caught about 44 crappie on a 20 degree morning in January. Everything was frozen on the boat. I had a big cup of coffee and we had to pour it on the trolling motor to unfreeze it to be able to deploy it. It was a great day and we toughed it out and caught crappie. LOL. I have seen pictures where Dutch has caught a lot of crappie there too. It is a great lake once you learn it. I have only fished it a few times for bass and a few times for crappie so I am not much help. I can't even remember the names of the creeks. LOL. Good luck.
