Good times with friends are the best, Oh ya eating is good too. glad you had fun
Me, Fred Hill, John Pearce, Gerald Killgo, Richard Kunka, and Dennis Linn went up to Soap Creek on Clark Hill Lake for a planned fishing trip Tuesday. We came back yesterday with our old butts wore out. We had wind, high wind, cold, etc. for 3 long days. With all that, we had a big time, eat good, and actually caught fish. My boat kept 5 on Tues, 18 on Wednesday, and 10 on Thursday. LOTS of dinks... Water temp was 52 AM and 58 PM. All fish were caught in 15-20 FOW. We ran double rigs with cannon balls on some to get down to them. The best color, by far, was a Black/Yellow with orange tail....
We stayed at Soap Creek Marina which is under new ownership. The cabins are being renovated, the Marina, bait shop, and restaurant will all be open this year. I met the new owners and seem to be great folks and open to fishermen. Their new web site is under construction but you can find them on Facebook.
May the Force be with all of you.....

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!
