Are you on the north end or south end? I caught some still full of eggs Saturday in 20-25 foot water. I talked to a guy that checked the shallows where they normally bed and he said they weren’t there yet. He caught his in creek channel.

Tough day on the water...I thought I knew how to fish for specks, today makes me doubt it....fish are on the channel ledges, nothing shallow...water temps was 63 mid-lake, 59.5 after the surprise monsoon. Caught 25, kept 10 and a huge catfish...marked plenty of fish, but they had a magnum case of lockjaw. Hitting the river in the morning...maybe it will be better...I hope

According to the weather the water temp might not change much before full moon. It might go down a little.
