Default Albany, GA- Things to do

I'll be down in Albany next week for work and was wondering if there's anything cool to do if I get some free time. Any outdoor stores or anything worth checking out? Really don't want to sit in the hotel and tie crappie jigs every night. Thanks in advance.

What Dutch said Not sure where you are staying but I'd stay out of East Albany, especially after dark. Gander Mountain is located out by the mall. They closed down last year and not sure if it has reopened or not. If I get an afternoon off, we might could hit Lake Chehaw for a couple of hours.

Be sure to bring a concealed weapon and have situational awareness. Albany has a lot of crime. There are some outdoor stores within an hour drive. Cairo and Bainbridge have but both close 5-6.

Camp out at one of the "Home Run" convenience stores. They get robbed often and might be fun to watch. Just keep your car doors locked and firearm close by!

With all this rain coming, you can go down to the Flint River and watch the sewer system run over and spill more turds into the river.

They have at least 1 sewage spill a week. That is why lake Seminole grows big crappie!
