    welcome to CDC papa1
I would say look at the boats where they are. you will see some anchored down and some longlining trolling or drop shot slow moving.. longlining will be moving at about 1.8 mph with jigs out about 45 ft. some use 2 jigs about 17 inches apart. most drop shot use minnows or jigs and some times tip the jig with a minnow. if you want to tie up or anchor i would try the RR turntable in the channel or 280 bridge on the edge of the pilings. would be there but have something to do sat and can`t postpone it. maybe there Sun. and Mon. my camper is parked up the river at weekend retreat part of the old camper haven park.
retired and now i will always fish
