Thread: Perufred way to fish during spwan.

Long-lining, when they go shallow I will use corks to get at them. I also will cast a cork/jig (or vertical jig with a long pole)to them when they on on the bank.

I don't fish for them on the bed. I either catch them before or after. Let em spawn.

Love to watch that cork go down slow are sometimes lay down on its side when they pick the minnow up.

When they spawn you just find a stick up or a log and there will be hundreds of crappie there. You just toss a Hal-Fly under a cork and when it hits the water it goes under. It is a lot of fun and a great time to take kids. You can go home with a limit in a couple of hours or less.
