    Default Map Card Help Needed


    Guys I must be doing something wrong. My Navionics Preminium South card is not showing much detail of Lake Talquin. I saw some posts on here where some guys have way more detail on their cards than I am getting. Any suggestions as to what is going on with my card? I have put a pic of my screen with the Preminium South Card in use. Any suggestions on a better map of Talquin would be appreciated.

    Update like Dutch said. Go to navionics on desktop or laptop with sd reader. You will have to download chartinstaller

    That’s definitely not right. What version is the card? There is not 40 ft water in that area period. What card and unit ? Will need to know card version and if it’s been updated.

    I only use HB so I know very little about Lowrance. What I have heard in the past is that there is a setting on Lowrance units where you have to tell the unit what state you are in for it to read correctly. Don't make any sense to me but like I said, I know very little about Lowrance. I have a Hotmaps Premium South (not sure what version) that I have been using for about 10 years and it is spot on.

    Mine doesn't. I use a HB 999 unit.

    No sir. Mine show all the contours and like Crappielimits said, there is no 40' water in that area.
