Default Lake Chapman/Sandy Creek Park 2/14/19

Spent the afternoon on Lake Chapman near Athens. Caught a dozen or so crappie. (2) 14"-15", one got off coming over the bow.

Black and Chartreuse, Artic Blue jigs.

Caught at various depths. Trolling and spider rigging.

    Water 50 degrees.

    Sunny to overcast.

I haven't heard of that lake but that is a nice catch with some pretty fish. Great job. We have a small lake down here in Middle Georgia called Tobesofkee and it is a great crappie lake. I have caught a lot of limits of crappie on it and they were pretty fish. Most people don't realize how good of a lake it is. Once it warms up it is hard to fish with all the jet skis, water skis and pleasure boating. Good luck and I hope you keep catching the crappie all spring.

Great report from chapman. I live about 30 minutes from it. It is a great crappie lake.
