    Default Oconee 2-6-19

Finally got to go fishing. Saw a bunch fishing at mouth of double branches, so i went on in to Green County landing and stared at the timber. Only caught 17 crappie 4 males 13 female 11 to 14.5 inches, strippers tore us up had 5 on at same once, they pull good but cause a mess.
Started fishing 30 fow caught 1, water was 50, started moving around searching for better temps. Found some 58 got to 60 by end of day.
Trolling single 16th and couple double 16th, .8 to 1 mph single was ticket where i was 2 to 10 FOW. Only pulled jiffy jig curly tails Colors blue/ice sparkle, walley world, popscile, black/chat were best crappie, had lot of other colors out strippers eat any thing with a little speed.Name: 20190207_101829.jpeg

I fished that area with a friend this morning for hybrids. Managed to catch these two crappie while flat lining large bass minnows. Will break out the crappie rods later this week. 2.3lbs and 2.5lbs. Was awful cold and windy. Name: A52B3D34-C286-4F28-896A-8B70D9140FA1.jpg

I'm a part timer, don't get to spend enough time there. Appreciate you posting fishing reports, as always if I can't be there, I like to read about whats happening.
