    Default Oconee 1/16

Had some friends that wanted to go to Oconee yesterday(16th). So off we go, after about 45 minutes from house discovered I had left my chiller-killers at the house. Thank God for Wallyworld in Eatonton so I could get me a jacket to wear! Anyways, put in at a ramp on 44 and fished the creek mouth. Caught a bunch of fish, we left with 38, other boats left with 34 and 35 keepers. Best colors were probably blue-black, but we caught on all colors.Fished 25' water, around 10-15' deep, double 1/16 jigs. Water temp @ start around 50, end around 53. Sorry have no pics this time. Great time had by all. Nice to see you again mistrfish! Sorry info I gave you didn't help.Listen to what hotwater said, great advice.

Do you have a gps? if not get you a cheap garmin etrex that will read less than 1 mph. Speed control is essential when longline trolling! Work is NEVER an option over fishing!

No but my remote that controls the TM does and tells me how fast the boat is going. Yes, work gets in the way of fishing but since Im basically retired it shouldnt. I have livestock and a small farm with goats and its kidding season so I cant get to far away.
