Thanks;; that water is still mubbddddddy the fish are biting good, if anyone nose hotwater is the man
Thanks to help from our mentors, Hotwater and Kissimmee Kowboy, my brother and I found some fish at Lake Oconee today. We searched 5 or 6 locations before marking fish on the main lake. Most were in 15' to 20' of water within 100 yards of the shore. Water temperature was 50 deg. when we started and 51.7 deg. by the time we left. Probably caught 50 fish, but plenty of small ones. We kept 18 fish over 10" but most of them we kept were around 11" to 12". Below is the smallest and some of the nicer ones we caught.

Good job!
Sir I plan on going Saturday. Are you willing to share your Technique and where on the lake you would start? What Color worked for you Sir?
The best advice was given in this thread. https://www.crappie.com/crappie/georgia/386311-oconee/
Hotwater is giving great advise in that post. If you search his name on this forum, you will find he does videos and gives great reports on how and where he fishes.
We used blue/black curly tail grubs with chartreuse tails and pumpkin seed with chartreuse tails. I use a Lowrance downscan to find the fish. Once I find them we do the "combo trolling" like Hotwater does. We were at Hwy. 44 yesterday, but we checked other locations first to determine where to fish. Most of the fish we caught there were small.
