    Default tuff day

I knew it was going to be a tuff day when I stopped at my first spot and with all this floating trash from all this rain we had lately. On my first pass I caught a nice 11/2 pound crappie and that was it!!!! I decided to spend some time checking out the lake and learning some new spots. I marked lots of fishing holding close to the bottom and no takers. I found some great places to check when conditions improve.

Those fish can be caught deep. Tie on a 1/8 oz jig. I have used a 3/16 to get deep and caught some real good fish.

We have had a ton of rain this fall. At least the fish will have plenty of water. LOL. Talking about the trash in the lake. I have been catching crappie at Oconee as fast as I can reel them in and a guy cleaning his yard start using a blower and blows all his leaves in the water where me and other people are catching fish. Then you couldn't go 10 feet without having trash on line. I know that has to be illegal or at least I hope it is.

I think it is illegal. Almost like fishing a dock light and then they turn it off. Lol

I'm amazed at the color of those fish. Looks like there getting ready to spawn. I"ve so much going on this year and just started tilling up for a 40 by 40 plot. I know one thing there's a lot of rocks in the ground near oconee. Looks like it's gonna be spring before I get it tilled. Maybe next winter Vic. Thanks for the invite!!!!!
