if you don`t have a GPS or compass sit still and wait till the fog lifts. i was in-between the RR and 280 bridge on Blackshear when the fog rolled in thanks to a compass i knew which way to go.but yes if you go go slow.
retired and now i will always fish

I fish in fog like that in early spring this year on Sinclair...unnerving with the bass boats boats zooming through without regard of others on the water.

I haven’t been in a while and the fish have moved. We only caught 2. I bought a knockoff GoPro to try filming. I wasn’t very good. I got 1 off the 2 on film. YouTube

Always scared I'll have one of those idiot bass fishermen running full blast straight at me in that fog. I listen as carefully as I can during those mornings and the pucker factor stays pretty high until the fog lifts some.

Yeah crappie fisherman never go fast in their boats. I see plenty of crappie boats going full throttle 40-50 mph all over the lake to get to a spot. Just like bass fisherman.

WOW! When it's like that, I got my Bird GPS, but what I worry about is some idiot running over me. Sometimes I just wait and let it lift a little.

What I worry about is the man running 35-40 trusting his gps and running over me. It’s a bad feeling when you are fishing in the thick fog and hear a boat coming right at you and you can’t see him. Then you hear him go by and never see him then the wake comes so you know he was close.
