    That's about right. My jigs run 7-8ft with that weight combo and speed on 6lb line. Try a few poles with just the 1/16th and a few with 1/24th if you have some. 1/16th will run about 6ft and 1/24th 4-5 ft.

    If you aren't running them together, the weeds are just high.
