    Default Waypoints

I converted my War Eagle yesterday from Brim/Bass to Crappie. It came to me also that I had a load of un-named waypoints on both units. I downloaded these two units and an old unit on my River boat. I then uploaded all three units into a program called HumminbirdPC. Great tool! I created a master waypoint list and from there I would add and name a waypoint from the old units. The best part is you can click on a no name waypoint and view the location in Google Earth. Now I have a Master list with the correct location. Now I can use a program called GPSBabel and convert these locations to other formats on other units. Great Tool.

I know most of you already knew this BUT it might be of some help to some. If this ole country fart can do this, you can also.

Thanks Danbo. That is cool stuff. I wish it could pull the ones out of my head before I forget them. LOL.

I found out during this process that if you want to convert your Hunninbird Waypoints to Lowrance or Garmin EasyGps works best.
