Thread: lake oconee night fishing

has any body been to lake oconee at night to fish for
crappie lately? was thinking about going saturday night
usaly fish lit boat docks but never this early in year normaly wait till october.

Fished tree tops until 11pm in 60 ft water on lower Richland Creek 10/1. Caught 19 keepers before catfish took over. Most were between 15-20 ft deep. A friend said they caught 60 in same area on 9/30. Looks like fishing is still spotty but picking up... Good luck!
