    Default Blackshear Muddy?


    Planning on a trip to Blackshear Friday. I was wondering if it was muddy/full of trash with all the rain.

    I haven't been fishing much (once to Ocmulgee PFA) since end of April, ..summer surge at the plant is winding down, temps are getting better and I am ready to start hitting the water again regularly.

    The weekend before it was dingy. Did not go this past weekend but with recent rains I'd expect worse

    Hey Dutch. Did you ever find anything out about the condition of Blackshear? I'm itchin pretty bad too.

    Talked to a good friend that lives on Valhalla cove, he said its dingy but not muddy. Wind is going to be a little tough tomorrow ( The Blackshear wind effect...lol). so I am going Saturday. Ready to pull some jigs along the river channel.

    LOL, the sleep monster got me...slept right through my alarm. Thats allright, taking some time off starting Sept. 19th...going to be at Blackshear everyday for 10 days, weather permitting
