    Default Blackshear lately?

Anyone been? Whats the water conditions?

Work is slowing down so I am finally getting some time to go, (Last time on the water was last week of April...I'm about to die).

Was thinking about Blackshear Friday, but might go over to Ocmulgee PFA...heard they had some crappie in it.

Have not been to Blackshear but went couple times to ocmulgee PFA. Few fish scattered on man made trash piles but they were small. Caught 6 (small) and threw them back to grow. White crappie. Caught some reel small so know they did spawn last year. Best memory was watching deer swim across the lake.

Thanks. I guess I will ride over and fish the PFA, I haven't been to check it out since it re-opened.

I wait for late September to go fish Blackshear.

just got back from Blackshear . lot of fish showed up on my finder but would not bite . i pushed minnows all around a trash pile and in deep chanel in cedar creek and not a bite . shot a couple of dock not a bump . think it is in a turnover . may be because they were not pulling any water at all . the water surface had some little trash and not moving . tried for some brem around the edges and just a few small ones and 2 catfish . there were a lot of mos rising to the top and floated to the south side of cedar where i usually catch some nice bluegill . might do better ling line trolling but it got to hot to stay out after 11:00 am for me .
retired and now i will always fish

Know few fishermen who caught some at the lake close to Perry. Not going anywhere till temps go down.....
