I lay out a piece of bread let it harden then crumble some for then to eat I also keep the center of a roll of paper towels or toilet paper wet it and drop it in .they love to get inside that They need water and get it from that also have used a real shallow lid off a jar for water .be careful with the water and don’t over soak the cardboard tube or use something too deep because they drown real easy!

I've used old cardboard egg containers for them to get in. It will help to put a small sponge in the lid to keep them from drowning.

I don't need this with my crickets as they last long anyhow. I have Brims that we them up very fast.
