that happens a lot i went where a friend was catching fish he was about to limit out so he called me and ifish the spot he went 50 feet to another set of pilings and caught fish i didn`t get a bite .

Dude....the members AINT the problem. It's ALL those lurkers just waiting to find out where theyre biting. There's enough "visitors" reading these boards to cover up your fishing spot when you say where it is....to the point that you cant even go back to fish it. That's why everybody is getting hush-mouthed. Me and my buds don't ever report our trips on our lakes anymore either and that's the reason why.

Just say lake and colors, then you are fine or put a BIG X on the spot( just play) you can do number one though.

Well, I don't mind giving specifics,maybe it will help the next guy have a little fun. If anybody thinks that they have secret unfished spots on public lakes then you are kidding yourself.

What I don't understand is why people don't use the moderated board for detailed reports.

That board hasn't had a post in almost a year.

Why not move detailed reports into that section of the board?

If anyone (that meets the standards) wants to post to the Moderated Board I always check it when I get home from work, if I don't have to be somewhere. I will approve them as soon as I am able to get online and read the post. I am blocked from Moderating from work. I haven't got to go fishing yet so I might as well moderate. LOL.
