Post this quedtion in the Georgia Forum. Lots of people fish it on there.
Fishing is like pizza.......Even when it's not that good, it's still pretty good!

Fish the river channel, using a single 1/16th oz head and a #7 split trolled at .8-1.0 (or a 16th and a 32nd). Jigs with blue in it is a good choice at Blackshear, my favorites are Blue Shiner, Wiess lake killer, blue/black chartreuse...also Popsicle, John Deere green, and bubble gum are good as well. If the fish are shallow switch to a #3/0 split or run double 32nds or a 32nd and 48th jigheads. I usually use just a single jig rig and load the boat, but be adaptable...Blackshear is a tough lake at times and it will take a while to learn it.
If you have any specific questions let me know.
