    Default HELP!!!!!!!


    Can anyone giving me some tips on becoming a better crappie fisherman on lake blackshear i haven't had any luck the last 4 times i went to the lake. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

    HAve no idea about your lake. the first thing to do is slow your retrieve then change colors and weight sizes.

    Fish the river channel, using a single 1/16th oz head and a #7 split trolled at .8-1.0 (or a 16th and a 32nd). Jigs with blue in it is a good choice at Blackshear, my favorites are Blue Shiner, Wiess lake killer, blue/black chartreuse...also Popsicle, John Deere green, and bubble gum are good as well. If the fish are shallow switch to a #3/0 split or run double 32nds or a 32nd and 48th jigheads. I usually use just a single jig rig and load the boat, but be adaptable...Blackshear is a tough lake at times and it will take a while to learn it.
