Danbo, google Ga lake levels. They up date the levels of all the Ga lakes daily. Then google Thurmond lake boat ramp elevations. GREAT info for what you are asking for.
I hope to go to Soap Creek on Clark Hill in the next two weeks. Best ramp that is nearby and open?
Never been to this area. Any heads up??

I put in at the crooked bridge on hwy 220 in soap cr this wk
Be sure to go back under the small bridge after passing the marina and checking that area for crappie. There's ALOT of good fishing back there IF the fish are there, and they nshould be because the bait should be there. Lots of 15'-20' water back there (atleast under near-normal lake levels).
That water is now only bout 10 to 15 feet.
We haven't been able to find the fish in soap creek yet but any day they will start. Butch is right

I am going after Specs but would love to get into some stripes. They have a better taste and pull your string much harder.
Thanks.
Hoping for next Wednesday if rain leaves.
