Now that's a slab. Great catch and fish.

I keep bringing my boat back from Talquin saying I was going to fish Blackshear and still haven't made it! Nice catch! Suspect spawn has to be over.

I only long-line. Any suggestions of location for now. Going to try and maybe go Thursday or Friday.

i haven`t long lined that much but i would try cedar creek at the mouth and go north stay close to the bank where the channel runs close to the bank

. if you put in at smoke bridge i would lingline all the way out to the main water stay close to the south bank in deeper water . . they should be scattered bank
retired and now i will always fish
