    Default Deep and slow

Fred and I went up to Lake Oconee today. Rain made this a half day trip but we done good. Water was 48. All fish caught were in 25-30 Fow. Every fish was caught on a Strike King Purple and char Joker. Every one........ The trick was slow .5 and Deep. Most specs were small but many goodens. The stripes did not follow the plan to hit the down rods with live bait, no they hit the light lines with crappie jigs....This was fun. Lost several stripes due to hook failure and this will not happen next trip. Folks they stacked like cord wood in the mouths of all creeks.

I don't know how far you are from Lake Harding, but if you like catching them stripers like that, PM me. You can follow me and when you see me make a big arch, just keep going straight. lol
