    Default Talquin 1 Feb 10

The weather was great all weekend and the bite was slow but steady and the fish were Grown. Saturday morning about 45 boats between Harvey and point toward Polk Creek. Most were catching some fish. I long lined the channel using 2and 1/8 Charlie Brewer Sliders and 1/16 Litewirehooks with #1 Litewirehook. The longer hook was perfect for the larger slider. One picture shows the fish in the channel and even caught shad that the fish were feeding on. Wonderful day to be on the lake and now I know why I worked for 45 years........be able to fish when I retire.
