    Default Lake Oconee 11/21/15


    Heading to oconee in the morning to do some trolling. Has anyone been this week? I was just curious if anyone had any luck. All the reports that I'm getting from Lake Blackshear and the Florida lakes doesn't look good.

    Went the other day and it's muddy as I've seen in a while. Fished Long Shoals to Old Salem. Didn't fish long and only caught a few pulling jigs but they were good fish

    We made it to the lake to realize that I had left the case with the dept finders at home. So we just stopped by and winterized the camper on Lake Sinclair. Lake Oconee was starting to clear up at Lawrence Shoals. It was still stained. Lake Sinclair looked like mud puddle. I have never seen a lake that muddy.

    I fished 4 trips in two days at oconee...Richland creek is clear...Main lake is bad stained...BUT THAT DIDN'T KEEP EM FROM EATING! TROLLED JIGS THE WHOLE TIME AND PROB BOATED 150+ FISH IN 2 DAYS...LOTS OF SMALL ONES ...HAD SOME FLAT TOADS IN THE MIX! GOOD TRIPS....They've adjusted to that stained water!
