WTG young man. Those are some good fish.
Today one of my Grandsons, Maclean, accompanied me on a fishing trip to Lake Oconee. I ran the TM, netted the fish and handed him food and drinks. He long lined with 8 rods. It was his first Crappie trolling experience. The bite was good first thing this morning. It slacked up at mid morning and then picked up again after lunch. Maclean finished the day with a fine mess of fish. We put 25 fish in the cooler and he would have gotten his limit if the TM battery had not gone out. His two biggest fish are picture below. One was 14 + inches and the other was 13 +. John Deere curly tails were good this morning and lighter colors worked best this afternoon. We both had a day to remember.

Great job to both of you! Now you gotta teach him how to clean and cook em. Complete the circle, you know.

I'm sure he had a blast! That outing should make him a crappie fisherman for life. I want to make my first trip to Oconee this fall. What ramp did you use?
