    Default Savannah Ga fishing guides

Thinking about a trip to Savannah. Is there crappie fishing in the area and if so any guide recommended close by? I know there is ocean fishing. Thank you,

Here goes somebody you can check with about Crappie Fishing near Savannah...

Clarks Hill Lake Fishing Guide - Sasser's Guide Service - Fishing Guide Service on Clarks Hill Lake (Thurmond Lake) Crappies, Stripers, Hybrids, Catfish, White Perch

Or you can schedule a day to drive back and fish at Oconee with Crappie Daze, Jody will put you on the crappie most definitely.

I will have to check out the geography gentleman! Thanks for the replies, very helpful and generous of you. I may have to try something closer to the coast due to flying into the city. My wife always wanted to go to Savannah and we might get a chance in may or june! I always wanted to fish those southern waters for crappie, after watching TV shows of Hank and others!! Again, thanks for the info. I will look at a map! Gonz

If you are flying in then the local guide is probably your best bet...its a 4 hr drive back North to either Oconee or Blackshear.

Also check into Capt. Dave Newline he is a charter Captain that does freshwater crappie trips as well
