It started clearing up but then the hard rains came in the other day and muddied it all up again and I mean REAL muddy on the creek side.
Is tobo still muddy?
A crappie day fishin beats working any day!!

I have been itching to fish Tobo as I haven't done it yet this year. Going to go Monday and see if I can put a few in the boat.

Pretty muddy but muddy water does warm faster if your looking for a bright side

Dutch did you make it to tobo Monday
I went yesterday...here is the bad news.
I caught a heap of 3-5 in crappie but did manage to catch 17 keepers. Fished form 7am to 5pm water was muddy enough to see coon tracks in above the LTB to stained below LTB, water temp was 58* this morning warming up to 62* by 5pm. All the keepers were full of eggs that were still bloody. Fish were caught in 10-15 FOW with the best colors being Horsefly, White Lighting, Red/Black Char., and Wildcat.
Didn't catch a keeper in all my usual spots had to think outside the box and fish areas that haven't been pounded...the lake was full of boats on a weekday, hate to be there on the weekend. Tobo is going to be tough this year and possibly next year but if the current crop of dinks isn't fished out then it should be a good couple of years after that.
And there is alot of trash and logs above the LTB...be careful running. Plus with the forecast of heavy rain tonight and tomorrow its going to be muddy enough to track critters on.
