Everytime I go to Oconee even if I have a good day I will only bring home about a dozen for filets. I love eating them but if I brought 30 home everytime i went the fish would go to waste. I would have to eat fish almost every day to prevent this. What worries me is sometimes I read post on here where people say I went to lake " " and had a great day. Brought home 75 or brought home about 100 fish. I read this and I hope its like most tales in fishing where its overexgagerated some or they took 2 or 3 other people with them. Most people I have seen fishing on average is either alone or has 1 other partner. Not trying to start anything because what others do is not my business. I just wonder sometimes when I see things like this. I think the best thing would be to have a 10 inch rule. This would allow a lot of fish to be realased. I also agree with everyone doing their part and when you catch a plump female full of eggs to let a few go. One fish could produce enough for one or to people to catch their limit later down the road.
