Default Talquin Update (8 March 10)

The wind finally stopped and the fish started moving. Some good fish were caught in the main River and others at Iron Curtain, Williams, Polk & Harvey Creek Channel. Did not hear of many fish caught toward the Dam. The best colors were Pink and anything with a Chartruse tail. Here is a picture of Little Cork and a verry happy Lou who was fishing with her husband John. Lightwirehooker

Hi Curtis.Got the pictures.I had a good time at Talquin . The WIND,WIND,WIND,and the COLD,COLD,COLD, was bad .I don't know how many we would have caught if the weather had been good .I thank you for everything.I am readyfor another trip. The folks At Talquin Lodge are great. I was the old Florida Craker up there with all those Georgia folks .Keep those LIGHTWIRE HOOKS sharp.

lightwirehooker, Sounds like the lake's starting to come alive. Wish I was there. We still have soft ice in Indiana on our big water. Can hardly wait to try the lightwire jigs. I'm selling the Harley in order to set the ol' boat up. I may be contacting you for some ideas or answers. Keep making people smile!! See y'all next February!! fish hook rich
