Default Looking For A Treeing Walker Coonhound Puppy!

Can anyone put me in touch with a few coon hunters so I can try finding a puppy this spring? I'm looking for one as a pet only. If anyone knows anyone please PM me with their name and phone number so I can get in touch. Thanks.

About 25-30 years ago the wife and I were at KY Lake when they had the annual coon hunt and festival.
We we fisher people' not coon hunters but one day we went to the exhibition and were amazed at all the stuff available to hunters.
Well while there we looked at all the coon hounds for sale and by golly we ended up buying a female pup for $100.00.
She was a loving delight but God did not create her to be an indoor dog, after she nearly full grown and most our carpet was ruined I ran an ad in the paper to sell he and she sold quickly.
The guy that bought her stayed in touch with us and said she turned into the best coon hunter he ever had.
He ended up breeding her and selling the pups and one day he called and said he had a new litter and as a thanks to us offered us a free pup.
Well after replacing the carpet we still gave it some thought, she was such a great dog, loved her but we had to say no!
Probably she was one of those 1 in a million dogs.
