I drove straight through from Cameron, Montana. I left Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m. Georgia time and got home at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening. I think that was about 34 1/2 hours. There was a lot of bad ice on the interstate in Montana so it took longer than usual. The fishing was off due to the weather but we still caught some nice fish. I had Go Pro trouble so I did not get every fish on camera.

That makes me cold just watching. All together just love of sport to drive that far for a chance for the trout. Any safe trip is a good one for that kind of effort. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for your reply. I have made the trip many times both by air and driving. I had not driven to Montana in over 20 years so I didn't know how it would go. Nothing is as easy as it used to be. However, I had a good trip both ways. Over the years I have realized it is often more about going than the actual fishing itself. In some cases anticipation is greater than realization. Thanks for watching.
