    Default Lake George

Me, Fred, DDD, Jim, Dennis, Booger, Gary, and Wally went down to Astor, Fla last Sunday for some Brim fishing. Sunday we got stormed out, Monday Fred and I found the Gills and caught many. All were males so we knowed they were coming to the bed. Fred and I were on the spot at the crack Tuesday. Our goal was to catch 100 Gills and be back at the camp by lunch. We actually had to leave at 930AM because we were skerred we were over the limit. Wednesday we were back on the spot for more Gills. To hot to fish after 11AM and we had rain and storms EVERY afternoon. We had fun and eat dern good.

    Old folks can fish.

Good post and stringer, congrats. I've ate lunch numerous times overlooking the St. Johns in Astor. I still have a long-handled net from a restaurant there, that needed a 5 minute mending, someone had thrown away 38 yrs. ago. I see I need to practice more with my net, I'm lucky if I can scoop one at a time. lol
