Default Lake Blackhead bream fishing tips needed

We are headed down to a family reunion starting June 10th. I have never bream fished there. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Type bait/lure and maybe general area. I am not sure if I will have much time to fish but I'm going to take the boat and try.

    Thanks,
    Krappykeith

if my truck gets fixed i migh could meet you over there but not sur if it will be ready by then . i have no way to go right now .
all i can tell you is look for them around the edges of the lake they should be getting close to bedding .you can find some crappiear ound brush piles and the river dropoffs. dockshooting is good on blackshear .
how long will you be there ?

My time is limited. We will be there just for the weekend. Thanks for your reply. I was thinking he same thing about working the edges. Probably with crickets, worms and maybe a beetle spppin.

    Thanks,

I going to try and fish the mornings and let the kids have the boat after that so they can play. The state park sounds like a good place to put in.

    Thanks,
