Default lookin to learn the ogeechee

well this is one river that i would like to learn to fish from my kayak. not asking for your honey holes or spots. i just like to fish for crappie bream and redbreast and sometimes bass. iknow over the next fewdays the rivers will be not to good to fish with all the rain we have had. but onces it settles down i would liketo get on the ogeechee and fish it thanks rob.

Check out the PDF link on this site for access info. You can also watch the river level hereand when the level is at 4 feet or less, it is good fishing.

Robert, let me share one of my spots with you. you can reach it with your kayak from the boat landing. if you move up the river a short piece you will see a green no wake zone sign, there is a small creek that runs back in the swamp. in the mouth of the creek is a stump, tie off on the right side and fish around that stump with crickets under a float on incoming water. the tide effects the river level there. I have caught some nice red breast there. P.S. I failed to say the landing is kings ferry, hwy. 17 south. good luck my Friend. Jimmy
