    Default River Fishing Friends

If you are thinking about fishing the mighty Altamaha, I can recommend this camp. It ain't got 400 count sheets but it has all you need in the cabins.

For a Satilla Trip this is a place I recommend:

God Grant That I May Live To Fish

God grant that I may live to fish
    Until my dying day
and when it comes to my last cast
    Then I most humbly pray
When in Lord’s great landing net
    I’m peacefully asleep
    That in His mercy
I be judged as good enough to keep.

My Dad and I are hopefully going to make us a trip to Adamson's this year. It seems like it will not be until middle of June because of the water levels down there. I need it to be about 5 to 7 feet and with all of the water heading that way it is going to take a while to go down.

Perfect. By then the Bream will have bedded and gotten fat from feeding in the rich woods. May be some state records set this Summer.

It is a beautiful place down there. We normally fish Morgans Lake but ever since it has became a WMA it gets pretty crowded. I have a brand new Orvis Fly Rod and I cannot wait for one of the 1lb copper heads to try and break it. There is no better fighting fish. Danbo Have you ever thought about fishing the Hunter Mimbs Memorial Tournament on the Oconee river at the beginning of the May.
