I’ve found everyone extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. Crappie.com has some great members and moderators. Welcome (actively) to the forum.
I joined as a member of this forum eight years ago but up until now never got active or started fishing for crappie, just bass.
That's changing. I'm retired now and have more time but the real catalyst was a long time friend of mine (we were in the Air Force and law enforcement together). He's also retired and wants to fish but really isn't into bass fishing. That being the case I decided we would give crappie a try. Went to Brewer lake in AR and darned if we didn't catch a few. That got me fired up. I haven't fished for crappie in decades and have a huge amount to learn.
For now I'm reading old posts and as I pick up on things I'll try to ask decent questions. I've already realized that the crew on here seem to be open and helpful to each other.
