Welcome from North Alabama
Hello everybody! My name is Roger, I am from Virginia. I am Retired. Prior Military, USMC 1974-1980. I am originally from Maryland, left Maryland in 1974 to serve my Country. Remained stationed at Marine Corps Air Station North Carolina. Returned back to Maryland 1980 after Military Tour. Left Maryland 1982 and moved to Mississippi where I began working as Mechanical Design Engineer. Received an offer from a company in Apex, NC in 1998 and made the move. Got to travel thru several of our great states and Mexico servicing and installing CNC Fabricating Equipment and Lasers. 2000, went to work for a company out of Charlotte, NC but was relocated to Virginia. Traveled into Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee servicing and installing CNC Machining Equipment. Retired at 62 about 3 years ago. Lead started to accumulate real bad so I got me a few Fishing Poles and some Tackle and a Kayak this past spring. The lead is starting to go away but can't let it all go, retired gives me a right to be lazy, LOL. I used to enjoy fishing my entire life, as far back as I can remember. I done some fishing in Mississippi but laid down the poles when I left for North Carolina. Work kept me away from home and on the road so much I just never had the time to go fishing. Now that I am retired I am back at it and enjoying it. I am wanting to get back into Crappie Fishing so bad, so here I go.
Really looking forward to hearing everyone's fishing stories and seeing pictures. I hope your luck rubs off on me just a little bit, every little bit helps.
Thanks again for allowing me into your Forum.
