Default The Search function is your friend

Click on the "Search" button above. Then, click "Advanced".

You can search for any topic that's ever been covered here: rods, reels, line, spider rigging, minnows, jig fishing, etc. The archives are full of these discussions, so take advantage of them.

You can also filter your searches. If you want to look at spider rigging threads but only care about how guys in Kentucky do it, then type "spider" in the search box and select the "Kentucky" board to search. You can also filter by member name.

    Happy searching!

Can you search for member names?
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.

... you sure can !! Just use the "Members List" link, rather than the "Search" feature

Of course, that depends on what you're really looking for, too. I don't think really, really new members can access the profiles of members (until they reach a certain amount of posts of their own) .... so, if you know (or find out) the member's name that you want, and you want to see what they've posted, then the Search feature can be used for that. Use the "Advanced" link on the Search feature, then when the page comes up, just put a couple of key words that are most likely to have been posted (like "rod", "Crappie", etc) and the members screen name in the appropriate boxes, and search all forums. That should bring up alot of the posts of that particular member.

    ... cp
