Default Caught some on the fly!!!

Went to the Bass Pro pond by my house because its loaded with sunfish and very few trees so good for practicing the fly rod I thought. By the 100th cast i got it sort of figured out and started slaying the sunfish!! I'm so hooked!!! It was so fun and exciting!!!!Name: 20190618_135543.jpg

Thank you! I have been itching to try it out so had the chance today and took it. Fighting smaller fish was still challenging and fun with the fly rod!

Go back to that triangle drill I posted. There are a lot of good tips in that short video.

I worked on that alot. Started side to side then moved to vertical. It helped alot. Then I learned more about how to flick my wrist and sail the leader in front of the fly line.

Yeah I lost one because I didnt have my hand on the line and it went slack and it shook the hook. It's more to keep up with but so fun
