    Default The Straight-Skinny was

    on yesterday's to-do list. U/l chuckin' =1/48 oz.(#6's/barbed-collar), Bobby Garland 2" Slab Slay'r BLUEGRASS(modified to 1 3/4")Name: 20230420_064426.jpg

Size: 143.1 KB Really MADE my day but ENDED Theirs! A large number were CHOKIN' IT!
Post-spawn fish(w/t 75*) fish are relating to grass in 9-10 fow well offshore. The key is light jigs(slow fall), light tackle, smallish hook to Feel the THUMP! I like the larger 2" BG SS side-profile over the 1.25" Itty-Bit = It actually helps eliminate Weed-Hassle(not a big fan of weed-guards etc.)
I then bite off the tip to equal around 1.75". The pre-wind fishing was again "Off the Charts"! The bite turned off about 10 when the Wind-slap on my aluminum hull proved to Staple their mouths shut. Great, blessed day with Crappie/Bluegill/Largemouth getting the 'Inside-the-cooler' invite(17).
    Enjoy the pics-

Another good day. I’ve gotten time the last two days after work but the wind has kept me home. I like the looks of the rod in the second pic. Did you sneak out and get a special rod you ain’t talking about?

10-4 on BPS - CM...got 2- 5'rs I really like em...that reel is 2500[too big] but doable. 1000 series on the other is sweet/real good value for money!
