I've been trying different techniques including bobbers to keep my bait above the hydrilla which has taken over the are I fish, but I ended up going back to my old longlining technique to catch these. I just stayed further out and away from the weeds as I had to do that anyway to keep from snagging up like crazy. No particular colors. Just that they seemed to hit the plastics more than the hair jigs, strange. But at least I'm catching. And now we got Ian coming in, oh well, that'll change everything.
