Default THERE WILL BE A NEW RESTRUCTURED WATER AUTHORITY STARTING JULY 1, 2022

HEAR YEA HEAR YEA!! There will be a new restructured water authority starting July 1, 2022. Final bill presented by my hero Keith Truenow state representative and passed all the way through, with final pass on the Senate floor this afternoon. If my leg didnt hurt so bad i would be doing cartwheels!
This new board will be appointed by the county commissioners and will be FOR the people and clean waterways. Many years of work by many, we can see daylight on the hind-ends of those running. Keith Trueknow also had many other water bills presented and passing. Truly a man for our waterways, so pass the word next election, hes not giving in, but taking names and kickin some good bills. A long fight finally won.

    Hello,

Is this county specific or statewide? With commissioners being mentioned I am guessing county, but which one?

And, could you provide some details on what the new authority will be doing?

    Thanks in Advance

plus promised dredging canals to the bottom in venetian village, the entire apopka beauclair canal and whats needed on the west side of beauclair again. This isnt a start , this was the ASK for 5 years and i've finally gotten it, promised by our state representative Keith Truenow.Still have got the nurf and dam to address, but actually the nurf is being turned over to outside company and the damm just needs cemented closed imo but st johns will decide with us here soon i hope.SO I THINK MY CANAL SHOULD BE RENAMED THE LJMOSS CANAL, ? 5YEARS NIGHT AND DAY AND GUESS WHAT NONE OF THE NAYSAYERS LEFT AT LCWA OR ST JOHNS. THEY HAVE ALL RESIGNED UNDER THE CHANGES!
