First, welcome to the site and I hope you’ll feel welcome. No dumb questions so ask away about most anything you want.
Second, don’t have a clue where buoy 6 is and you profile says Michigan so I’m kinda lost. A little more info please.

Thanks. Bouy /marker 6 is just north of the boat ramp on 60th about 3 mile. I fish crappies in michigan but it doesn't get good till May. Florida fishing is all new to me. Saginaw bay is my home water so whatever you want know about walleye fishing or salmon. In the great lakes just ask.

OK, maybe I can help a little. When it’s not working here, try to find something different close by. Different weeds, depth, pockets in bull rushes maybe. I think we’ve all set somewhere and loaded up cuz they were happy right there but not 50’ either way. Hope you find some to keep you busy.

Thanks, we are here till the end of February. Been fishing Kissimmee and walk in water. I noticed uesyesterday the water cooled off 6 degrees since last week so I'm not sure of that plays a part or not.

Pm a fella that goes by the handle Hotpepper, he comes down every winter as well & has his share of success on Kissimmee.

Just saw your post, ive been twice in the past couple weeks. I like the east shore of Bird Island. I fish the lilly pads, concentrating on those with a little grass mixed in. Good luck if this weather ever clears up.
