Not really sure how you'd be able to tell. Tilapia get bigger, especially the ones on the beds that I've seen. Good luck, let us know if you figure it out.
When I fish lakes in Florida that have both species I have a hard time distinguishing between the two on livescope and side imaging . I知 from Ky usually go down a few weeks a year. I知 heading down around Feb 4-5.
Last year I spent time chasing talapia I think on my livescope. Is there a good way to tell what I知 after? Thanks for any help.

I just wasn稚 for sure if Talapia schooled up. Do the Talapia relate to brush?
I like to chase bigger crappie in open water. Last year I had just gotten the livescope. I tried to get bigger fish to bite . I was chasing Talapia I知 just about sure. Maybe with a year under my belt I値l do better.
My wife is going to be fishing with me this year. Where would be my best bet to get her on some fish? Day or night? In the Bartow / Lakeland area.

Someone at Grape Hammock or Camp Mack fish camps ought to be able help with areas and tactics that are currently producing and as well as your Talapia query.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.
